An exciting vacancy has arisen within the Baxi Residential Boiler division for an Area Sales Manager to join the team, covering NE & SR postcodes. The main focus of this role is to maintain existing company accounts, and grow business levels with them via a network of merchants in the above area and to achieve set targets for selling Baxi domestic gas boilers.

 

 

As an Area Sales Manager, you will:

  • Be responsible for working with merchants in that area to sell the Baxi product range and pull through sales from the installers to the merchants.
  • Attend Trade Events with both merchants and installers to promote the Baxi product range
  • Ability to work diligently using a journey plan, find new business via the installer and merchant sectors
  • Work with our Key Account Merchants in building up a trusting relationship for the benefit of all concerned.
  • Promote to installers / merchants and sell them the features and benefits of the Baxi, Potterton and Main range.

 

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues of all levels

  • Excellent knowledge of our market place

  • Good analytical, planning & organisation skills

  • A technical understanding of product and related regulations

  • A good eye for detail and accuracy in data handling

  • A good team player who is hard working and self-driven
