CHP/Heat Pump Engineer, Commercial

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced CHP/Heat Pump Engineer to join Remeha. Reporting to the Field Service Manager, the role involves Commissioning, repair and servicing of CHP units & Heat Pumps on site as well as providing technical product support/training. Although working mainly in the field you will be working as part of an established dedicated team supporting the needs of our Customers.  For the right individual, full product training will be given.



  • Attending sites mainly within and around the M25 (London & Home Counties) but also when required the rest of the UK.
  • On-site support to contractors during install as necessary to ensure the appliances are installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions as well as current legislation and relevant British Standards.
  • Analysis where necessary of electrical and hydraulic schematic designs to ensure optimum integration and operation of the appliances.
  • Commissioning, repair and servicing of CHP units/Heat Pumps.
  • Providing end user and contractor familiarisation training on the installation.
  • Assisting the After Sales department to identify best solution and communicate effectively to ensure labour and parts as necessary are deployed to enable 1st fix wherever possible and within SLA’s.
  • Timely and accurate production of site/job reports.
  • Managing a sub-contractor network to ensure best practice and customer service is maintained as well as informing of any technical updates as necessary.
  • Dealing with Site related product technical enquiries via phone and email in an effective & professional manner from staff, contractors, sub-contractors, customers and consultants alike.
  • Delivering Product Service training to qualified sub-contractors to enable them to support warranty call outs and carry out servicing.
  • Liaise with the After Sales department to ensure customer priorities are met.



  • Minimum of 3 years previous experience in commercial CHP/Heat Pump commissioning and servicing support with a comprehensive knowledge of Gas safety regulations, Building regulations and relevant British Standards.
  • Full and current Gas Accreditations including CGFE1, CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CIGA1, CODNCO1, ICPN1, TPCP1A, CONGLP1PD).
  • Electrical Qualified to 18th Edition.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Hold a current CSCS card and have experience of completing and working to Risk Assessments & Method Statements as well as to HASAWA and CDM regulations.
  • Good interpersonal skills – dealing with internal and external customers
  • Sound literacy and numeracy skills
  • Good PC skills, knowledge of MS Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel.
