Here at Baxi Heating UK, we have an excellent opportunity available for a Commercial Area Sales Manager to join the team.

The main purpose of this job is to establish and maintain contact at all appropriate levels with Contractors, Merchants and Installers within the specified territory BN, BR, CT, DA, ME, RH, TN.

We are looking for someone who will work using the pre-existing Baxi Heating UK specifications to secure projects, whilst working with contractors/merchants to gain/break competitor specifications.

 

As a Commercial Area Sales Manager, you will:

 

  • Fully embracing the vision and values of the company
  • Organized, pro-active approach to managing sales activity for the company within a defined sales territory
  • Consistently exceeding our customers expectation with a high level of quality communications, discussions and support
  • Retain and grow current business whilst increasing the overall level of sales within your defined territory through pro-active development of new business
  • Ensure the sales territory achieves its sales objectives
  • Meet and exceed all KPI’s outlined by your Regional Sales Manager
  • Build strong relationships with all stakeholders at senior, head office, regional and branch level
  • Ensure the ongoing development of a strategy to build sales and loyalty
  • Complete all CRM requirements to an agreed level of details and timeliness
  • Manage day-to-day activities, reports and communications
  • Manage commercial relationships
  • Complete effective sales presentations to Contractors, Installers, Distributors and influences based on a solution selling approach
  • Gain knowledge of customer requirements and service their needs, while identifying new business opportunities
  • To build effective and cooperative working relationships will all internal and external colleagues
  • To ensure all Health and Safety procedures and current guidelines are upheld
  • Proactive approach to enhancing product knowledge, time management, sales presentations and other professional sales skills to enable personal development
  • Able to complete and record information on future projects ensuring a solid pipeline of opportunities are in the sales funnel
  • Create value for our customers utilizing the features and benefits of our product portfolio

 

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

 

  • Experience of the commercial sales environment, with a proven track record of establishing, developing and maintaining a territory and customer base
  • Understanding of the commercial heating market, and particularly how to influence the commercial decisions of our customers
  • Demonstrate competency with Microsoft packages of CRM, Word, Excel, Power-point and overall IT skills.
  • Good understanding of the structure of small/medium and large M&E contractors
  • Excellent communication and numerical skills.
