An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Commercial Parts Department based in Wokingham. Reporting to the Spares Manager, the main focus of this role is to work as part of an established team supporting the needs of our Customers as well as the reporting/invoicing functions of the department.  For the right individual, full system and product training will be given.

As a Commercial Spare Parts Advisor, your responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the day to day running of the department
  • As part of a team, handle all Commercial Parts enquiries via phone and email
  • Processing orders for a broad spectrum of customers from end users to contractors and also our group of sub-contractors
  • Timely and accurate processing of customer orders/requests
  • Ensuring systems are updated accurately with the correct information
  • Identify parts from online parts systems as well as drawings held locally
  • Liaise with warehouse and other departments within the business to ensure customer priorities are met (I.e. New item creation)
  • Ensure effective communication is maintained at all times with clients, service agents and internal personnel alike
  • Filing (both electronic and paper) and other relevant clerical duties
  • Any other tasks requested during the day to day running of the department
  • The role will also involve cross training to help in other areas of the business when required
  • Issuing returns paper work and arranging courier collections


  • Good interpersonal skills – dealing with internal and external customers
  • Sound literacy and numeracy skills
  • Good PC skills, knowledge of MS Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel. In addition SAP & M3 would be an advantage
  • Personal qualities: technically minded, able to use own initiative, mature in approach to work, ability to resolve problems, attention to detail, a team worker and a desire to enhance personal skills.
