We have more than 1,200 colleagues involved in making, moving or selling heating solutions and our Internal Communications keeps them up to date with what’s happening in our business and our direction of travel.

As the Internal Communications Manager, you’ll be confident advising our senior leadership and a variety of key functions and stakeholders on the best way to communicate. You’ll be brilliant at writing clear communications, telling stories about our business and our progress.

You’ll be skilled crafting everything from engaging leadership communications and change information to operational instructions. You’ll have the experience and flair to innovate with our channels and tools for use in different work environments. There’ll be multiple business projects to manage, so you’ll need to work at pace and be calm and focused under pressure.

You’ll have a superb grasp of strategic communications, developing plans, generating two-way employee insights and feedback, and you’ll be constantly looking to try new techniques and hone your own functional skills.

You’ll be part of an energetic and busy communications function, including one additional member of the internal comms team.

We work together with our UK & Ireland external comms and public affairs team, so there’s joined-up knowledge of activities and we can prioritise and coordinate plans.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be a comms thought-leader in our business and to work with senior stakeholders.

We’re part of an international group, and you’ll be working with our colleagues to ensure our communications is aligned with global priorities.

You’ll be very hands on, capable of providing strong counsel to senior level stakeholders, whilst providing great levels of service to multiple projects.

  • An ability to build subject matter knowledge in a manufacturing business that provides heating and hot water solutions to millions of homes and businesses
  • A resourceful, proactive, and motivated communicator who can use a variety of approaches to get their message across.
  • Conscientious about technical detail and getting communications right.
  • Great at networking within a business and building strong cross-functional partnerships.
  • Passionate about employee engagement, corporate reputation, and communications.
  • Interested in environmental and sustainability issues.
  • Degree level education with significant experience in communication.
  • Brilliant copywriting, speech-writing and proofing skills.
  • Great people skills and an ability to coach and advise others.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • An ability to manage and brief design agencies.
  • Strong understanding of media platforms and ability to create engaging content.
  • Confident presenting skills and an ability to write and run workshops.
