An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of a brand-new Internal Sales team, based within our Finance department in Warwick. We’re looking for five Internal Sales Coordinators who will report directly into our Internal Sales Manager.

Together with existing colleagues from BGP, you’ll form a team of ten looking after internal orders and processing for domestic boilers, cylinders & water-heating & spares.

The successful candidates will provide exceptional customer support to all inbound customer orders and specification enquiries, as well as being responsible for the daily processing of customer orders and inbound enquiries.

As this is new role, and picks up internal sales activity from our Norwich site, there’ll be a period of training required, which will involve travel to Norwich on a regular basis, for a short-term period.

Main purpose of the role:

  • You will process sales orders for Merchants & Wholesalers.  Process manual order receipts for FOC & CWO finished goods requests and associated products.
  • You will be required to respond to enquiries/orders and provide information and support in order to ensure customer satisfaction an order fulfilment.
  • You will process EDI order receipts, including exceptions, report processing and customer “call off” order processing and monitoring.
  • To provide a follow up service to clients regarding general pre-sales specification enquiries or information relating to new products.
  • Liaising with external salesforce, providing information on all internal sales related matters.
  • You will complete all associated administration tasks with efficiency and in a timely manner.


Knowledge, skills and experience required:

  • You will have an excellent telephone manner, remaining professional and courteous at all times.
  • Excellent customer service skills are essential.
  • You will be able to demonstrate excellent organisation and administration skills.
  • You will work well under pressure individually or as part of a team, to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills are required.
  • A proven track record of communication at all levels is essential.
  • Analytical skills are essential along with the ability to demonstrate good problem solving skills.
  • Use of Microsoft is essential, particularly Word and Excel.
  • A general background and understanding of heating and hot/cold water products would be desirable.
  • A high attention to detail and an ability to comply with clearly defined rules and policies is important in this role.
  • A cautious and detailed approach towards the analysis of data and task completion is an important aspect of this role.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, capable of working both individually and within a team, organised, and someone who has an excellent eye for detail.
