We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-motivated individual to join our Finance Team in Warwick as a Management Accountant. The main purpose of this role is to be responsible for all Accounting, Reporting and FP&A matters in relation to Parts Sales Division.

As a Management Accountant, you will:

  • Provide excellent and timely financial advice and data to the Parts commercial team in order to maximise the sales and margin performance.
  • Analyse and review product, sector and customer profitability on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, in comparison with budgets, forecasts and prior years.
  • Support the Service Division, managing Stock accounting & support M3 System integration testing/rollout.
  • Complete monthly product and customer profitability analysis.
  • Segmental reporting identifying profitability by customer.
  • Complete monthly management accounts & submit to Group.
  • Submission of weekly sales forecasts in line with Group reporting requirements.
  • Prepare Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations (sales rebates, provisions etc).
  • FP&A - Budgeting and Forecasting Income Statement and Balance Sheet, Inc. Sales & Margin
  • liaising with Auditors.
  • Resolving issues arising from everyday transactions.
  • Support and Challenge Pricing Changes / any changes to business terms (rebates etc.).
  • Support Service Division ERP system migration, integration testing and M3 system rollout.
  • Prepare ad-hoc business reports or instigate ad-hoc projects to assist business performance. 
  • Assist with the preparation of the statutory accounts and detailed tax pack.
  • Develop excel / BI / other reporting tools in order to provide, develop and improve management reporting on a continual basis.
  • Attend divisional meetings / other ad-hoc tasks as and when requested.

Knowledge, Skills & Experiences Required:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Experience being responsible for the Income Statement and Balance Sheet for a business.
  • Experience business partnering, particularly Sales and Margins.
  • Excellent IT skills in the Microsoft Office suite of software, especially Excel.
  • Ability to streamline processes and controls to drive efficiencies.
  • Ability to find creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, written and verbal.
  • An understanding of the operational business environment is necessary in order to facilitate a major contribution.
  • Ability to work well independently or as a team.
  • Adapts to change well and views it as an opportunity.
