Here at Baxi, we have an exciting opportunity available to join our Product Management division as Product Manager – Heat Pumps. Reporting directly to the Head of Product Management UK & Ireland, your main focus in the role would be to own and advance the overall Heat Pump proposition, ensuring long-term sustainable EBIT and share growth in this category. You will bring existing expertise in heat pumps, firmly establishing yourself as the recognised product owner within the business, setting the product strategy to deliver sustainable growth in this exciting growth area, achieving a significant share position by 2025.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Lead the strategy for Baxi Heating to grow significantly in the Heat Pump market, driving Baxi Heating’s strategic response to the key elements of Product, Brand, Channel, pre-Sales and Aftersales service and support.
  • You will develop compelling value propositions for both products and services, translating data-rich analyses into effective stories to engage with and win key stakeholder buy-in.
  • You will employ a highly customer-centric approach, devising well thought-out research briefs and engaging with external audiences to gain insights and help predict market advancements.
  • You will build cross-business stakeholder engagement within the UK and wider BDR Thermea Group, backed up by strong communication skills and a highly collaborative mindset.
  • You will support Marketing to build sales collateral and external audience awareness. Alongside this, you will ensure that the sales teams are competent to execute, and to consistently review and enhance the process.
  • You will measure category performance, deriving resolution plans and driving corrective actions when necessary.
  • You will input into the annual budgeting and strategy processes to define financial impact and requirements of the Heat Pump business line.

Knowledge, skills and experience required for this role:

  • You will be educated to a degree level in a technical, marketing or commercial related subject.
  • You will have extensive knowledge of Heat Pumps and the Heat Pump industry, and possess excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • We are looking for someone who has demonstrable experience in developing successful value propositions, both product and service based. Experience in previous project management would be desirable, alongside relationships with major UK property developers.
  • Ideally you will have previous leadership experience, building collaborative working relationships to drive high quality deliverables, supporting continuous improvement in a learning and development context.
