TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER

COMMERCIAL (Open to location)

                                                                         

We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-motivated individual to join our busy CHP sales team who will be based from home and directly reporting to the General Manager – CHP. You will be responsible for maintaining and growing the CHP sales within your designated area and to further develop business links in your area, in line with overall company directives.

 

The role will focus on the following key areas:

  • Develop and agree with the General Manager CHP, quarterly sales plan to achieve volume and revenue targets.

  • Develop new business opportunities at all levels.

  • Achieve all targets as set by the company.

  • Attain all performance standards.

  • Report and communicate effectively with line management as directed.

  • To establish effective working relationships with all customers, negotiating prices within parameters set out to you

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with ASM’s from all Commercial brands within the geographical area.

  • Develop awareness of competitor activity and general market activity and communicate in an effective and timely manner to the General Manager CHP.

  • Ensure all paperwork is completed fully, and on time.

  • Deliver seminars and training where required for specifiers, end-users and industry bodies; these may take the form of group training.

  • Offer technical assistance at design stage.

  • Provide site surveys as and when required in geographical area (If a customer is working outside of the geographical working area the nearest TSM to the site will attend)

     

    The ideal candidate will have the following key skills and qualifications:

  • You will have a sound knowledge of product selection and how a specification is achieved, ideally come from a specification sales background.

  • You must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of commercial heating systems including hydraulic layouts and be confident when discussing them with customers

  • Exceptional numeracy, communication and organisational skills with an eye for detail.

  • Fluent IT skills in the Microsoft Office suite of software

  • Ideally educated to degree level in a discipline HND/HNC or equivalent
